BRYCE ROMLESKI (he/him) is a theatre artist, educator, and arts administrator based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Utah and has experience as both a teaching artist and office assistant with Youth Theatre at the U. With YTU, he collaborates on creating and adapting original musical theatre pieces for 1st-12th grade students.
Bryce is the Co-Founder of To the Moon Theatre Collective, a company dedicated to Theatre for the Very Young (TVY), which creates sensory-rich, human-made performances for audiences ages 0–5. Alongside Lauren Carn, To the Moon Theatre Collective develops original work rooted in child development, imaginative exploration, and play. TTMTC is committed to making live theatre an accessible, educational experience for theatre’s newest audiences.
A passionate supporter of Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA), Bryce has a longstanding relationship with Salt Lake Acting Company’s annual TYA productions. He has performed as Elephant Gerald in Elephant and Piggie’s: “We Are in a Play!”, and as Teenager in Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!. This season, Bryce returns to SLAC as the Assistant Director for Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience!
With experience as a theatre-maker and arts-administrator, Bryce is driven by his belief in theatre’s power to foster lifelong learning and human connection. Whether performing, directing, teaching, or devising new work, he is committed to inclusive, meaningful storytelling that centers joy and inclusivity.
LAUREN CARN (she/her) is a theatre artist based in SLC, Ut and a recent graduate of the Theatre Teaching BFA at the University of Utah, where she was recognized as the Department of Theatre’s 2024-2025 Outstanding Senior. She currently teaches 5-8th grade drama at Salt Lake Arts Academy, with 5th grade being in collaboration with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program. Lauren has previously taught with Youth Theatre at the U, Studio Kids Music, Arts for Youth, and Pioneer Theatre Company's educational outreach programs.
Lauren is the Co-Founder of To the Moon Theatre Collective, a theatre for the very young company focusing on performances for audiences of ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Along with Bryce Romleski, To the Moon creates human-made, original work that is based in child-development and sensory play.
Lauren recently spent the summer at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the Theatre Education intern, where she worked with the Theatre for Young Audiences and American College Theater Festival programming. Lauren is passionate about equitable access to quality arts education and the mental health benefits of participating in the arts, often participating in research projects within the field. Her work has been seen on the stages of Salt Lake Acting Company, Collide Arts Festival, and The University of Utah (Babcock and Studio 115), among others. Lauren is excited to be continuing her career within the arts as a creator, educator, and advocate.
